Course Outline:

Module 1: Ayurveda – History and Philosophical Foundations
Module 2: The Elements, Doshas, and Assessment Techniques
Module 3: Anatomy and Physiology
Module 4: Introduction to Massage Techniques and Safety Protocols
Module 5: Abhyanga (Ayurvedic Body Massage)
Module 6: Indian Head Massage
Module 7: Chakra Balancing Massage
Module 8: Shirodhara
Module 9: Marma Massage
Module 10: Business Relations and Professional Ethics

Materials and Resources 

All instructional materials are provided.
To begin your own practice, you may need the following: massage table, oils or creams, sound equipment, towels and sheets, a pillow, oil warmer, and towel warmer.
Details on sourcing materials will be discussed during the course. Approved items will also be available for purchase at our location.

Each module includes both theoretical and practical components.

• Theory: Written examination (including one case study)
• Practice: Hands-on application and supervised sessions
  All students are required to complete assigned readings, homework, and successfully pass both the practical and theory examinations.

• Comprehensive accredited program covering theory, practice, and personal application
• Eligibility to access the ACAM (Association Can-Américaine des Massothérapeutes) to provide clients with insurance receipts
• Certification as an Ayurvedic Massage Therapist
• Personalized mentorship and ongoing teacher–student support

Students are expected to maintain courteous, respectful, and professional behavior at all times. Creating and upholding a calm, meditative environment is an integral part of Ayurvedic training and treatment practice.

Upon successful completion, students will receive an Ayurvedic Massage Therapist Certificate from Skylit Ayurveda Academy and become eligible for membership with ACAM, granting professional recognition and insurance privileges.

Assessment:

All courses have required readings, homework and successful completion of practical and theory exams. Each module will consist of

1. Theory : Written exam (includes 1 case study)
2. Practice sessions

• Access to ACAM association to provide your clients with Insurance reciepts.
• Certification as a Ayurvedic Massage Therapist
• Personalized teacher/student support

Courteous and respectful behavior, attitude and speech is required at all times. The establishing of a proper meditative environment is an essential component to all Ayurvedic treatments.

On completion of this course you will receive a Ayurvedic Massage Therapist certificate from the Skylit Ayurveda  Academy and also be eligible to join ACAM - l'Association Can-American des massothérapeutes
