Materials & Resources:
All instructional materials will be provided. Materials to start your own practice may involve the following: a massage table, oils or creams, sound equipment, towels and sheets, a pillow, oil warmer, towel warmer. * Details for acquiring necessary materials for your practice will be discussed in the course and sold at our location.

Courteous and respectful behavior, attitude and speech is required at all times. The establishing of a proper meditative environment is an essential component to all Ayurvedic treatments.
On completion of this course you will receive a Ayurvedic Massage Therapist certificate from the Institute Skylit Ayurveda and also be eligible to join ACAM - l'Association Can-American des massothérapeutes
A la carte options: Theory is online with recorded videos, plus 1 live Zoom with your instructor. Practice session are to be completed on your own and final exam can be sent in by video or conducted with in-person assessment.

How is Ayurvedic & Vibrational Massage Therapy different from a regular massage?
The focus on specific energy points in the body makes an our massages different from a regular massage. The heavy use of heated and herbal oils are applied in a variety of therapeutic methods such as using a special device to pour oil across the forehand (Shirodhara) or deep tissue massage with medicated oils to rejuvenate the body and strengthen all the tissues (Abhyanga) whilst applying marma (pressure points) massage and the hands and feet. Ayurvedic massages go deep into the subconscious allowing for nervous system regulation and harmonize energetic centres.
